Summary: New Years Eve party at the Inn / Onsen

Just as Subaru had announced, the Inn was laid out for a grand old party and everyone was invited! The first floor had wall panels opened for two large rooms for mingling; one with food and music, the other with a few different games (and space for anything people might bring in)!

The hot springs are also ready as always, with towels and buckets and such all set out, in case someone wanted a nice relaxing soak in the otherwise chill night air.

For those staying the night, the second floor has been closed off to offer as much privacy as possible, with futons laid out as they were intended, four to a room. It might be too cold and dark to go home after midnight, after all, and Subaru will not kick anyone out.

The only thing she seems to have forgotten is fireworks... but that doesn't mean sparks can't fly at midnight.

[ The production is coming together at the Viridian Pavilion, the players set up on the large dancefloor, with seats for the audience settled into the grass.

While a bit meek in manner, The Damsel is doing an acceptable job as director. The Mother is watching to make sure that no one takes advantage of the girl's generosity to slack off, however. She won't see the little maiden's hopes be crushed by laziness.

There's also a child, The Girl herself, scurrying about the stage with opinions on everything and a mind for mischief nearly as wicked as The Vamp's, though not quite. The littlest trickster can be found interrupting readings and splotching freshly-painted set-pieces. The larger might be trimming the hemlines of the costumes up, and who knows what else.

You'll just have to do your best despite them.

Summary: Birthday party! Subaru turns 22, and her friends return the favor with a bit of a surprise party.

Notes: If your character knows Katina or Vivio, or if you live in the Tohno mansion, feel free to assume they heard about this coming up! Or even if your character passes by the inn and notices the ruckus.

It's really difficult to surprise Subaru when it comes to things happening at the inn. But today she was out of the house long enough for her friends to gather and set up a surprise party for her!

The walls have been pushed open to allow for larger spaces for playing, dancing, and eating, and there are a few decorations and tables with snacks laid out all around.

And, of course, there is cake! Though it doesn't look like anyone can jump out of this one, though...

Date: Thursday afternoon, 3/15
Summary: Katina's birthday party! Expect music, colors, cavities, and maybe some drinking.
Warnings: None; will update if necessary.

Here is hoping that no one lives in The Abbey or, at least, they don't mind when Subaru and her crew of girls take over the main hall in order to dress it up and set up for today's birthday bash. Tables lined with all manner of snacks, desserts, and drinks line the sides of the area. Stone benches rearranged to seat most everyone facing in a loose circle toward the center, where a makeshift wooden stage has been prepared for today's entertainment. Colorful streamers, banners, and other decorations have been wrapped around the columns, catching the tinted light from the glass windows above. One great big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATINA!!" rests above the most comfortable chair in the place.

Last, but not least, there are some party games set aside for the event. Cards, board games, beanbag chairs for lounging, and even a familiar colored mat is present, if you feel like testing your dexterity and balance!

Everything about this should be bright and warm; a welcoming sight and one that encourages mingling and, above all, fun! So get out there and have some fun, and don't forget to send your wishes to the birthday girl!

Subaru is... suspiciously absent once everything has been set up. Perhaps she'll return when it comes time to cut the cake?

Summary: Katina tries to teach Mach Caliber some card games to kill time while she waits for the wildcard effect to end.

It was late. Later than it should be, but Katina seemed a little worried when she heard that Mach Caliber literally did nothing but sit around all night when others were sleeping. She wanted to help keep her company for a while, and Mach Caliber could not deny the request. She knew that it probably had more to do with Subaru than with her, but she still found herself curious about this pastime.

"I do not understand the reasons of 'bluffing'." Mach Caliber admits, after her fifth winning round of blackjack in a row. Once she understood the rules, the rest just fell into place, for calculating probability and counting cards was far easier than monitoring a dozens of different variables for assisting in driving and spellcasting. They had switch to this from poker, even as Katina explained the object of the other game to her. "I am not dishonest." Says the Device with the excellent poker-face.
