Summary: New Years Eve party at the Inn / Onsen

Just as Subaru had announced, the Inn was laid out for a grand old party and everyone was invited! The first floor had wall panels opened for two large rooms for mingling; one with food and music, the other with a few different games (and space for anything people might bring in)!

The hot springs are also ready as always, with towels and buckets and such all set out, in case someone wanted a nice relaxing soak in the otherwise chill night air.

For those staying the night, the second floor has been closed off to offer as much privacy as possible, with futons laid out as they were intended, four to a room. It might be too cold and dark to go home after midnight, after all, and Subaru will not kick anyone out.

The only thing she seems to have forgotten is fireworks... but that doesn't mean sparks can't fly at midnight.

"Hey! Cheater!" Though Katina's got enough size and arm length to make it just about fair like this. She backs off through the water.

Sette laughed. "All's fair in war!"

She kept up the splashing, encouraged by Katina's retreat.

It was hard to fight back against a vantage point like that, so... Dipping into the water, she made a quick approach, before rising from beneath the surface to try and drag her in.

Sette gave a yelp as she was pulled beneath the water by her ankle. She fought and squirmed and tried to get away but let's face it - Katina was a lot better at hand-to-hand.

It doesn't take too much effort to put Sette in a full nelson once she's in the water. "All's fair huh?"

OH GOD all the uncomfortableness that had been banished by the silly splashfight was back with a vengeance. Those boobs were way too close way too close oh god they were touching her back.

"Leggo! Quit touchin' me, pervert!"

Ah yes, back to the old standard.

Puberty is a hell of a thing. Katina waits just a moment before giving Sette a shove. "You're the one thinkin' it."

"Was not," she protests but it sounds totally lame the moment it leaves her mouth. Lame and obviously dumb - she'd said it, hadn't she?

"'s not my fault you can't help yerself rubbin' up on me," she offered as a followup.

"Hey, you're still a few years too young for that." Just... quite a few. "Seriously though if you need me to give you some space, just say so."

"Why would I need that?" Deny deny deny. "I ain't seriously bothered."

"I was young too, once. I know what it's like."

"I dunno what yer talkin' about," she insisted, while mentally screaming oh twins does she know? Oh she absolutely knows.

"I'm talkin' about growing up enough to notice when someone's hot."

"Ha! That's a bit full of yerself, huh?"

"Yeah, well, when you get looks as often as I do it gets pretty obvious." She's pretty sure Meiling, at least, thinks she's hot, along with her more intimate relationships.

"Well I hate to pop yer over-inflated ego, but I don't swing like that to begin with. So yer wiles is lost on me."

"Uh huh, I didn't think so either when I was a kid, and look at me now." Yeah, it's not hard to see.

It was hard to deny that Katina was...the way she was.

"Oh yeah? And how'd you find out?"

"Started looking at and thinking about other girls in... certain ways." You can probably imagine what ways right Sette?

"Like you wanted ta jump their bones?"

"Like that, yeah." Pretty accurate really.

"How'd you know you weren't just inna state o' confusion? Did you gotta jump one of 'em to be sure?"

Definitely doesn't have a reason for asking her about this, nooope.

"No, god no. Just a lot of thinking about it and figuring that if it lasted a while then it couldn't just be a one time ting."

"Well okay but how'd you know you wanted to jump'em, is what I meant."

"...just kinda... did I guess. I mean hell, when you're looking at a pretty girl and it hits you that you're thinking about kissing them and stuff it isn't that hard to make the connection."
