Summary: New Years Eve party at the Inn / Onsen

Just as Subaru had announced, the Inn was laid out for a grand old party and everyone was invited! The first floor had wall panels opened for two large rooms for mingling; one with food and music, the other with a few different games (and space for anything people might bring in)!

The hot springs are also ready as always, with towels and buckets and such all set out, in case someone wanted a nice relaxing soak in the otherwise chill night air.

For those staying the night, the second floor has been closed off to offer as much privacy as possible, with futons laid out as they were intended, four to a room. It might be too cold and dark to go home after midnight, after all, and Subaru will not kick anyone out.

The only thing she seems to have forgotten is fireworks... but that doesn't mean sparks can't fly at midnight.

If I had seen it, I would've avoided it.

I wasn't letting her, you know. And if I'd had a choice, I still wouldn't have. But I didn't have a choice, but it was brief and shallow. Not like with you...

[But she'd wanted to. Oh, she'd wanted to kiss Katina like she'd never ever get the chance again. But Katina hadn't earned the right back, so she hadn't. And it was hard.

Akiha took a handful of Kris' hair and rubbed her cheek against it.]

I thought I should let you know, since I had kisses on my mind. It is New Year's...

[Yes, she was mostly trying to avoid that conversation.]

[Akiha made a noise in the back of her throat.]

I was just thinking about how last New Year's here... was the first time I kissed you. And you said... [that Kris thought she loved Akiha. And then teleported away. :| ]

Looking back on it? Yes...

[She reached up to brush her fingers against Kris' cheek.]
