[ Winter has slowed the flower youkai down, it's true, but after being tricked by those marigolds so recently she was not about to let it slide. Exploring the entirety of the gardens might seem like a tall order, but she has nothing but time now to investigate her surroundings more thoroughly. If she so happens to bump into one of its inhabitants,that's just a bonus for her. Especially if something fun happens along the way~. ]


((OOC: As you can see, Yuuka's just wandering all over. Feel free to pick and choose where and when the two bump into each other. Mistletoe is optional, but largely the point of this post.))

[she says nothing, eye staring back for a long pause, before she tries to step around Yuuka again.]

[ And Yuuka lets her step around, into the invisible barrier. ] Hmm, no, I don't think that way is any good.

[thirdshiki]

[hands curl into loose fists, just for a couple seconds, before Hiiragi turns and tries to walk back the way she'd come from- with as much success as she had trying to go the other way.

her head turns slightly, as if she were looking at Yuuka from the corner of her eyes. but still she says nothing, as if expecting some sort of explanation for the invisible barrier.]

[ She just continues to smile innocently. ] It appears that we've been caught. [ Yuuka points up with her free hand, where a long branch overhead has a single sprig of mistletoe caught between its leaves. ]

[thirdshiki]

[clearly. Hiiragi stares up at the plant before reaching for her sword.]

[ Yuuka just watches her move, a little eager to see that blade for herself. Of course it won't do any good here, but it could make for an entertaining show. ]

[thirdshiki]

[the movement is cautious, but swift nonetheless- there's a flash of steel as she attempts to cut the mistletoe, and a pause afterward to see if it produced any result.

none, of course.

... right. regular attacks, useless then. the sword is returned to its sheath.]

[she'd rather not stick around much longer.]

Oh, I can do you better than just a suggestion. I have the answer~. But you aren't going to like it. [ No one seems to. How dull. ]

I don't plan to stand here forever. [so spit it out gurl.]

It's simple. [ She points. ] Just take off your mask, and all will be well.

[she has suspicions. for whatever reason.]

And how will that help the current situation?

For someone who's stuck the same as I am, you sure are asking a lot of questions of the person who will save your life.

I wasn't aware this is a life or death situation. [with just a hint of dryness to her voice.]
