[ Winter has slowed the flower youkai down, it's true, but after being tricked by those marigolds so recently she was not about to let it slide. Exploring the entirety of the gardens might seem like a tall order, but she has nothing but time now to investigate her surroundings more thoroughly. If she so happens to bump into one of its inhabitants,that's just a bonus for her. Especially if something fun happens along the way~. ]


((OOC: As you can see, Yuuka's just wandering all over. Feel free to pick and choose where and when the two bump into each other. Mistletoe is optional, but largely the point of this post.))

[she reflexively leans back, away from Yuuka's hand.]

[ She stops that hand, but doesn't lower it. ] Will it ruin the mood to show me?

No one except my master has seen my face.

[ She nearly sneers at the implication. Though it means there could be another, stronger being out there if it calls this one a servant. ] I won't tell them if you won't~.

Showing my face isn't necessary for a kiss.

[nephentes_rajah]

Aren't you being just a little rude? Masks are so dated.

Whether they're dated or not is irrelevant. You said a kiss is necessary to break the barrier, and that is all I will do.

[nephentes_rajah]

[ What a stubborn... ] And if I decide not to kiss you until I've seen your face?

[thirdshiki]

[she's like a boulder. a horned, one-eyed boulder.] Then that would be irrational.

[rather hypocritical there, but.]

[ A quiet laugh. ] Should I be more direct? [ Her hand is glowing, now. Might want to graze duck. ]

[thirdshiki]

[and she already has a hand wrapped around the hilt of her sword, crouching slightly.]

Don't.

[nephentes_rajah]

I wonder what would happen if one of us died. [ She holds the charge, but does not release it. ] Would the other be stuck in here forever?

[thirdshiki]

Let's not find out. [likewise, she doesn't draw her weapon.]

[ She pinches her shoulders. ] Now now, aren't you the least bit curious? No way to escape, and no choice but to wither away as the world passes by around you.

Can you imagine the sight? It's like a flower in a glass case, with plenty of sunlight, but no air or water to feed it. [ Yuuka genuinely frowns. ] How depressing it would be.

[it hits too close to home, what Yuuka says. Hiiragi had already once spent who knows how long sitting around, tied to a pillar with no escape, watching as things around her changed.]

I imagine it would be, yes. And I would rather not be caught in a situation like that.

[ The stranger is lucky that Yuuka just gave herself that mental image, and since she isn't keen on offing herself, that means she can't kill the other woman either.

Damn. Always something about this place spoils all her fun. She takes a breath and nearly growls as she releases it. ] I guess we can do without the big reveal, if you're going to be difficult about it.

[ Shrugging, she drops her hand. ] Nothing else about you is so special, so I don't know why I even bothered to think your face would be something worth looking at. [ Reverse psychology? Maybe, but mostly she's just insulting her. ]

[if the insult isn't directed at or hinted to be meant for Natori, she couldn't care less about it. what is a sense of self-worth or pride to a servant who has nothing else?]

Then if you will...

[she's certainly not going to be the one to initiate the kiss.]

[ Yuuka gives a little "come hither" gesture. ] Why don't you come and get it~?

[her lips curl in a small frown, but she leans in obligingly.]

[nephentes_rajah]

[ Yuuka doesn't close her eyes, watching that approach and staying tight-lipped for it all.

Literally, her lips are held such that it could hardly be counted as a "kiss" at all. The mistletoe would agree. ]

[just as to be expected, there's no feeling at all when Hiiragi presses her lips again'st Yuuka's. they might as well be shaking hands.

she steps back hardly after two seconds, and tries to walk away- and is stopped by the barrier.

maybe she should've seen it coming.]

... It didn't work. [stating the obvious.]

[ Yuuka giggled. ] Are you surprised? You hardly tried!

It was still a kiss.

One that obviously left us unsatisfied.

[ Another come-hither gesture. ] Why don't you try that again, with feeling? The way you did that, I might as well have kissed your mask.
