Summary: Mugi was invited to spend the night with Akira and Kazumi. Bathing, cooking, and recovery time commences!

[ Mugi is practically glowing with enthusiasm as she steps inside, taking in the layout of the apartment that her two friends shared. The entire structure had a very unique appearance, so she was curious what it might look like inside. This is her first time staying overnight with someone else while in the Gardens, so it's exciting on several levels.

Fortunately, Mugi had been taken while in her pajamas, so those are already in the first bag she sets down on the floor. The second holds that black-and-white dress she had been about to change into when she was told to get ready to be let go. Her hair still has a feather tucked into the bun, which seems out of place with the plain blue dress she was wearing. ]

Ah, so this is where you both live. How wonderful!

Kazumi knows where it is better than I do.

Yeah, sure! It's over here.

[Getting up, Kazumi wandered over towards the pantry - she mostly used it for cooking things anyway]

What did you need it for?

Oh nothing big! Just a handful should do it. [ Sort of... deflecting that embarrassing question. But she doesn't budge from the chair, which might be sort of rude since Kazumi was going out of her way, again. ]

Are you sure? You seem a bit fidgety.

[starofpleiades]

Hmm? Well, okay!

[Kazumi doesn't mind bringing it over, and she grabs a handful from the bin she keeps and brings it back to Mugi. Too bad her hands are probably the smallest ones here.]

Will this do?

[golden_gaytime]

Yes, thank you! [ Mugi carefully takes that handful in hers with an appreciative smile. The other hand stays down, covering her as she gives thanks for the meal and rises to her feet. ] Please excuse me a moment!

[ She takes quick, but shallow steps back to the bathroom and, once inside, goes about fabricating a pair of new panties to wear to bed. There isn't enough sand for a bra, too, and it is a little... skimpier than she wanted, but at least it covers her and is significantly less embarrassing this way.

Mugi exits the bathroom a moment later, smiling drowsily. ]

-Akira can't help but giggle a bit once she realized what was going on... hopefully Kazumi would remain ignorant.-

Well, with dinner out of the way, I say it's time for beer!

[Kazumi has no idea what that is about but is just happy it took care of whatever it was Mugi needed! While she'd doing that, the girl eagerly eats the rest of her meal and seconds, pausing halfway through when Mugi returns and Akira pipes up]

Beer?

Beer? [ She echoes Kazumi, sounding curious. Mugi was about to reach out to put her plates and silverware away. ]

Beer!

-Akira was up, heading towards the fridge to fetch a six pack. Yes, she was fully aware that Kazumi and Mugi were not of age for beer drinking. She was also fully aware of how little she gave a damn about that.-

My grandma said I can't have alcohol until I'm an adult!

[It's not so much a protest or judgment as a statement of fact.]

[ Mugi's own moral dilemma is shortened due to several factors; not least of which being: ] Did you have drinks while at the beach party, Kazumi-san?

... Mugi's got a point. You should probably pass anyways, seeing as you get a bit sloppy when you've had a few. Maybe just half a can for you.

Ahaha, I tried to avoid those... I mostly got hit because I didn't know the food was spiked too...

[She laughs a little sheepishly and blushes at the memory... right, the beach...]

Maybe I'll just have juice.

[golden_gaytime]

[ And Mugi just wonders what is meant by "sloppy". She still retained all of her functions, personally, she just became very... sedate. It was actually kind of relaxing, since she was somewhat nervous over playing alone in front of everyone like that, despite her excitement. ] Then I suppose I'll have to have her half. [ That was a lot of "half" sounds. Don't ask where her logic came from, either. ]

Alright then! -Akira popped the tab on hers, pulling back a heavy amount. She was on a full stomach, so it'd all be golden on her end.-

[Kazumi goes to grab some juice from the fridge and a pair of glasses, one for her and one for Mugi if she didn't want to drink straight from the can]

Thank you. [ She gives Kazumi a brief smile before turning her attention on the can. It's just... a can! She can totally handle this and yet she is taking far too much care in opening it. Mugi takes a careful pull, but ends up coughing after just that gulp. ] That's, mm... not quite what I expected!

It's the good stuff. I'd say it's right from Sapporo, but in reality, it's right from my memory of Sapporo. I grew up around there, yanno.

[Kazumi sips at her juice, giggling a little at Mugi's reaction]

Up in Hokkaido, huh? I've never been that far north!

[golden_gaytime]

[ It is odd, how complete everyone's memories are. One would think this is far more than just her subconscious at work, but it doesn't strike her as strange in the slightest. Everyone here should just be like actors, with this dream as their stage, and yet they are so... real. It amazes her.

Mugi does much better with her second sip, listening intently to the two talking about their travels. ]

Ah, it's beautiful up there. I think I'll pay it a visit whenever I get back. Especially in winter time.

Right? I've heard about the snow festivals and it sounds super-neat!

Ice carvings like that would be lovely to see~. [ Mugi says with a faraway look. There is also that beauty contest, and she's starting to imagine ladies from the Gardens appearing on stage... ]

If we're all still here come winter time, how about we throw one? Could be nice, right?
