Summary: A slumber party, but it seems the faerie that Nue and Sanae raised is gonna be causing some trouble

"See, yer getting' it! An' that's lesson two. Whenever yer different, it's cause you're better! Like look at me teeth and me tail. Someone calls me a freak on account of em, I just laugh cuz I know that they're just jealous of how awesome I am."

Sette was kind of getting into this teaching thing. It was fun having someone to hold authority over, even in a limited sense.

"Yeah dude, I'm just still getting into the whole different from the get go thing. Wouldn't be so bad if I had my sis with me, but maybe that's a good thing. I guess I kinda had to do it alone."

She nodded. "Your tail is weird, but I wouldn't make fun of those teeth o yours. You could really give someone a killer bite with those!"

Sette grinned unnervingly wide. "Can and have done! I'm a killing machine I am!"

[fionna_time]

News to her!

"Really? Who've you killed, insects?"

[swarmoflies]

"Well...not so much killed as such. Me Da keeps me on a firm leash there. But I've gnawed on more'n a few faces of coves who thought yankin me tail would be a good laugh."

[fionna_time]

"Yanking your tail?! Well no wonder you gnawed their faces off! That's messed up!"

Fionna...you are guilty of that too, lest you forget the bath incident.

"...ya know, you ain't all that innocent o' that youself."

[fionna_time]

"That was different!" Fionna insisted. "I wasn't doing it to be mean or funny. I was doin' it because you were being a pain!"

[swarmoflies]

"Pain's pain," Sette said philisophically. "Me Da likes to say that when your night's good time turns up with a bun in the oven, it don't matter whether you raised the loaf on purpose or not. Either way, you've got some bread."

[fionna_time]

"That's a weird saying, but I think I sorta get it," Fionna said, pondering this a moment. "Still, not like we gotta really worry about it now. All we gotta worry about is what weird stuff the queen is into lately."

[swarmoflies]

"What we gotta worry about is you not pullin' me tail! The pain is the baby in this metterfoar."

[fionna_time]

"Dude, relax," Fionna said, shaking her head. "I'm not gonna pull your tail again, ok? Now that I know how much it hurts, I'll leave it alone. "Sides, I can think of better ways to deal with ya."

"Good," Sette said. "'Cuz next time ya do, I'll bite a gash right outta your cheek, an' the wind'll whistle through it when you talk!"

[fionna_time]

Fionna grinned, even at this particularly violent imagery. "That's messed up dude."

"Don't laugh!" she said, defensive at Fionna's apparent amusement. "I've done it!"

[fionna_time]

"Man, if you did something like that, I don't think you could run fast enough," she chuckled, "but I never said you were lyin!"

"Well, yeah, I don't know for certain 'bout the whistlin' bit. I don't hang around long enough to find out."

[fionna_time]

Fionna narrowed her eyes. "Dude, I'm not gonna let you chomp on my face, you know. Even if I think of you as a bud."

[swarmoflies]

"Who said anything 'bout that? I bet you'd taste like carrots anyhow. Blech."

[fionna_time]

"What?! Why would I taste like carrots? People taste like people, not vegetables!"

[swarmoflies]

"'cuz ya look like a rabbit."

Simple logic, really.

[fionna_time]

"So? Does that mean if I bite you that you'll taste like a monkey?"

[swarmoflies]

"Lion," she quickly corrected.

Fionna chuckled. "I don't think I'd go that far man."

Sette rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Point is...I forget the point. The hell were we talkin' on?"
