Summary: A slumber party, but it seems the faerie that Nue and Sanae raised is gonna be causing some trouble

"Oh." Fionna felt really dumb and awkward now. It was hard enough, trying to actually be friendly, but what more could she do with someone who didn't really want to talk? She'd already seen what happened as a consequence.

"I can leave you alone then, if you want."

"Do what you want." It's not that Alice has to comply to what Fionna does, but it's apparently her party or whatever.

[fionna_time]

"But I'm asking you," Fionna insisted. "I mean, I know its awkward here. I'm still...I'm still getting used to all these human girls man! Where I'm from, I'm the last one left. You don't have to open up with secrets and junk, I get you're still figuring all this out. But it'd be cool to talk with you, about any of this."

[shanghaiworld]

The mention of human girls put an odd smile across Alice's face. "Ah, then why are you talking to me? I'm not human."

[fionna_time]

"So?" Fionna said. "I'm from where there aren't really any. I'll talk to you!"

"It means that by talking with me, you won't get any better by talking with human ones." It was really a simple solution, Alice thought.

[fionna_time]

"Any better than what?" Now Fionna was confused. Did she really not want to talk to her that badly?

[shanghaiworld]

"You said you're not used to talking with human girls. So I'm saying that by talking with me, you are not getting used to it." It's like she's trying to be helpful in a really bad manner.

[fionna_time]

"Yeah, but I'm not looking to you so I could talk to humans. I'm talking to you because I just want to get to know you. i don't mind making new friends, you know?"

[shanghaiworld]

"And your way of making friends is by going up to them and saying 'hey, tell me about yourself'?" Alice thought that way of things was just wrong.

[fionna_time]

"Hey, I asked about that later, I didn't start out saying it!"

Jeez, why were people so confrontational all the time? H

Alice just shrugged. "In any case, I didn't come to make friends either."

[fionna_time]

Boy, she reminded her a little too much of a certain stuck-on-herself demon. What was her problem anyway? If she didn't come to make friends, why even come at all?

"Ok, I'll leave you be then," Fionna said, not really sure what to think.

If that question of why come was said, Alice would say she already answered. She would have been home alone.

As for what was actually said, she just went to mind her own business.
