Failed domesticity

Date: After the fair.
Summary: Not everyone is happy by the change in weather.

Fall is here, and leaves are in the air. And on the ground. And some are drifting peacefully in the streams were Prussia's trying her hardest to wash her clothes. Someone looks quite unprepared for the change in weather, punctuated by how her jacket is hanging on one of the higher branches on the now almost bare branches. Out of reach.

"Don't get any bugs on your pretty dress, then," Prussia called out just loud enough to be heard, ignoring entirely Austria's implication of the need for her to beg. The nerve! If only the brunette were any closer for her to be splashed properly...

Turning her back to the other, Prussia stretched in the water, muscles taut as she did, before lifting the shirt over her head leisurely.

A soft "hmph!" was Austria's only response to the comment about bugs. That...was a valid point, now that she thought about it, but she wouldn't be deterred. She'd hold her ground.

With her shirt flung a safe, dry distance away, Prussia sank down, ignoring Austria for a good five minutes before her impatience got the better of her. "Having fun yet?"

"The weather is pleasant today. I'm actually rather enjoying being outside, thank you."

The reply was terse, and not entirely untrue, though she had spent that past five minutes keeping an eye out for bugs landing on her.

"You could join me," she knelt in the water, the small waves lapping up at her shoulders, "You look like you could use a bath. or two."

Of course, she huffed at that in annoyance.

"I am quite clean, thank you."

This was, of course, the truth. She'd made sure her house was built with certain necessary amenities, including but not limited to the piano.
