Summary: Mugi was invited to spend the night with Akira and Kazumi. Bathing, cooking, and recovery time commences!

[ Mugi is practically glowing with enthusiasm as she steps inside, taking in the layout of the apartment that her two friends shared. The entire structure had a very unique appearance, so she was curious what it might look like inside. This is her first time staying overnight with someone else while in the Gardens, so it's exciting on several levels.

Fortunately, Mugi had been taken while in her pajamas, so those are already in the first bag she sets down on the floor. The second holds that black-and-white dress she had been about to change into when she was told to get ready to be let go. Her hair still has a feather tucked into the bun, which seems out of place with the plain blue dress she was wearing. ]

Ah, so this is where you both live. How wonderful!

... Eh, I'm cool with that. Now sit down and eat something. -Akira chuckled, carrying off the laundry to their hamper.-

Aww, I'd love that, Mugicha~ [she's just dropped the "n" entirely...] But we can worry about that after dinner! Here, take a seat!

[She pulled out a chair for their guest and started serving, putting some pretty good sized portions of pasta, fish and the slices of the tomato-basil-mozzarella roll on her plate]

Yes! [ She ... disappears back into the bathroom, quickly drying off her body so she can slip into that shirt. Then Mugi ties up her hair tighter in that towel so she doesn't spend precious time drying it.

Finally, she is ready to join them at the table, eying the meal with eager eyes. Maybe she was hungrier than she thought. Mugi offers a thanks for the meal like a good girl and then digs right in. ] Mm~!

-Akira sits herself down, amused with Mugi's enthusiasm for the food.-</i. Hey now, slow down. You don't wanna choke.

I'm glad you like it though!

[Kazumi giggles, happy to see someone dig in so enthusiastically. It was like home! She serves Akira's plate and her own before sitting down]

I'm sorry. This is... I believe I was hungrier than I anticipated. [ Mugi does slow down a little, to properly enjoy the taste. ] It's delicious, Kazumi-san. I wish I could have watched you prepare it. Perhaps next time, I will pick up on some pointers!

She's definitely the best cook I've ever met. I'm lucky to have a cute girl to cook for me, ha ha~

[Kazumi giggles and blushes a bit at Akira's compliments]

It sure looks that way, Akira-kun. [ She giggles, too. Mugi sure seems pretty easygoing given she and Kazumi are both sitting with someone who made a pass at and kissed the both of them. Her imagination might be getting away from her, though, if the way she pauses in her eating is any clue... ]

-Akira was happily oblivious, letting out a content sigh as she chewed a bite of her food. This... was nice. Mugi was back, Kazumi had settled in nicely... She still thought about Lilly. Every day, in fact. But the loneliness didn't sting as much as it used to.-

[Kazumi wasn't thinking much about that either, the whole pirate kidnapping thing taking up her mind more]

So what was it like? I didn't really hear what the whole kidnapping thing was about anyway. How did it happen?

Skeletons silently made away with me in the night. [ Said before she put a forkful of food in her mouth. What? That isn't normal? ] Then I woke up the next morning and talked briefly with the Pirate Queen, herself, before he let the guards take me to change clothes.

The rest of my time was spent exploring or cleaning the ship, and it is much bigger than it looks on the outside! Or so it felt like.

They made you clean?

... -Akira sighed. It could have been much worse, she figured...-

Uwah, that's kind of scary. [Being kidnapped by skeletons, that is]

Oh, you got to talk to her personally? What was that like?

Honestly, I didn't get much out of a conversation with her. Just that she was conducting some kind of test, that it would be harmless, and that she wouldn't say any more. [ Not the pirate queen's exact words, but rather how they were interpreted. ]

That was it? That's all she said? Tch... playing with people's lives like that...

So she was just fooling around with us...? Well, I'm glad no one was seriously hurt...

[golden_gaytime]

[ Mugi nods slowly. ] She seemed quite busy, so I never really had another chance to speak with her. I'm sorry that I don't know more than that.

[ She goes to wipe her mouth with a napkin, but ends up covering it a lot longer in order to hide a quiet yawn. ]

Hmph. And in the end, she still got what she wanted. -Akira angrily stabbed at some of her food.-

It's okay, Mugi-cha! I'm just glad you're safe now and it's over with... hopefully it won't happen again.

[Kazumi's never seen Akira angry before so that's a bit worrisome, but she figures it's just frustration? Now that she doesn't have to be so worried.]

[ She could tell that Akira was getting upset, and she really wished that wasn't the case. Mugi nodded and fought off another yawn, though after finishing with her plate she does reach up her hands to stretch and... that's when she notices what is missing here.

And she blushes profusely as she pushes her hands down into her lap to hold the shirt down. ]

Um..... [ She glanced between the two others, contemplating who she was even going to ask. Kazumi-san was so small, there was no way Mugi would fit in anything she owned. Then there's the thought of wearing something of Akira's...

No! She shouldn't. ] You said that you had some of that sand around...? I will need to make use of some of it, if that's all right.

Kazumi knows where it is better than I do.

Yeah, sure! It's over here.

[Getting up, Kazumi wandered over towards the pantry - she mostly used it for cooking things anyway]

What did you need it for?

Oh nothing big! Just a handful should do it. [ Sort of... deflecting that embarrassing question. But she doesn't budge from the chair, which might be sort of rude since Kazumi was going out of her way, again. ]
