My Heaven
Characters: Anyone with a reason to be in/around Dr. Holiday's clinic
Date: After the Well Lady chatting
Summary: Alessa has nightmares and messes up reality around her. It's like peeing the bed but a jillion times worse. :(
Warnings: Lots and lots of horror imagery.
She is God.
Her pristine body clad in pure light, she hovers above the Gardens, beautiful and serene and flowing with the power of Creation. It is close to Paradise, but there need to be some changes. Paradise must be cleansed.
Some are blessed: they are Chosen to become gods and angels themselves. Flesh and bone stretch and pop, twisting into the glorious forms of the most holy of beings. Carapaces, claws, tumors, fangs. And the power sweeps over their sinful minds, erasing all thought but love and obedience to their mistress and Her Faithful. The rest are culled, their screams harmonizing into magnificent hymns to God's power. The angels display them proudly, beautiful trophies of victory over the Wicked. Blood pours forth, empowering the land and the deity.
Darkness and mist roll out from her, and fires rise from the earth, casting Paradise in red beauty.
"Throw open the Gates!" she orders with lyrical exuberance, "Let the Path to Paradise unfold before all my Faithful."
*****
Alessa shifts in bed, whimpering, her hands twisted in the blankets. Faintly, a siren wails. Beads of dark red crawl across the walls and seep through her sheets; white becomes bright blood red. The sheet edges flutter like curtains as a wave of insects pours from beneath her bed and swarm the room. Paint peels and curls. The floor rots, falling through metal grates into an inferno far below.

It was faint, but Holiday knew what a siren sounded like when she heard one. The last time she heard that-... The Nanite Event flashed through her mind and she immediately rose to her feet, terrified. What was that sound? What did it mean?
They needed to run. Get somewhere safe. Anywhere. Somewhere. Away from here.
Unknowing of what was really going on, Holiday broke out in a run for the girl's room. "Alessa! Get up! Ale-!"
Holiday throws open the door and is petrified by what she sees in the room. She needs to get to Alessa, but it takes her a minute for her mind to come back at all.

The nightmare was never over, and God is here again.
She shudders as a large roach crawls over her leg.

"Alessa!" Holiday finally breaks into a sprint, swatting the bugs and roaches away until she finally reaches her. "We need to get out of here!"

"She's inside me again! Please run away!"
no subject
"I'm not leaving you! Please!"
Get up. Do something.

But Cheryl has.
She reaches up, shaking all over. If I can be close to Rebecca...

"You can't just let it take you over, okay? You can't let it do what it wants to!" Assuming that this really was coming from Alessa... and wasn't something like the nanites.

But then things started to feel really weird. And she started to run, feeling panicked for a reason she didn't understand.
The doc's place suddenly felt way WAY bad.
"ALESSA!" She called out. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"Alessa!" She calls, the yelps: she nearly fell through the floorboards.

There's still no answer, but the darkness and decay seem to intensify deeper in the clinic, centered around one room.
no subject
"Crud," she muttered, moving further into the clinic.

Alessa's curled in the middle of her bed, the sheets now entirely red and fluttering like wings on the drafts of the heat. She hides her face, sobbing and shuddering.

She instead felt something very demonic coming from a house she recognized. She flew down, and opened the door. Urd grimaced as she felt the demonic energy wash across her body. She glanced around, and saw the rooms twisted, falling apart. She started to walk forward into it.

As she moves deeper, the area grows darker and the rot thicker. It seems centered on a single room at the far edge...
no subject
She makes her way further into to building, her walk slowing as she does, towards the room this is all centered around. When she gets there, she slowly opens the door.

Urd Placed her hand on Alessa and shook her slightly, as to try and wake her.

sorry this is late!
She was having trouble sleeping, as usual, and she was walking through the building quietly to get a glass of water when she heard--a siren? That was strange. Something was wrong, she could tell. She set the glass of water down, frowning, and went looking for the source of the sound.
"Hello? Alessa? Doctor?"
all good!

"Hello? Who's there? Alessa?" She raises her voice. If something's happening, she can't leave Alessa alone. "Can anyone hear me?"
no subject
It's Alessa, if Alessa had grown up without burns and hospitalization.
She notices Kariya, and approaches slowly, with a worried frown.
no subject
"Alessa?" Alessa's so changed. The vision reminds Kariya a little of herself before she went home again. Before the worms. "Is that really you?"
