Date: A while ago...back when Gal thought she was married to Akiha
Summary: Kris is visiting Katina to chill out. Katina gets some misconceptions out of the way.

Hahaha, what a great day for a vacation. A vacation from home. Akiha needed some alone time, clearly. But boy, that was a fast celebration for marriage. Wait a minute...did they even have a celebration? If they did and didn't invite Kris, she was about to actually get mad. Akiha getting married didn't bother her, surprisingly, but leaving her out of the celebration was pretty cold.

It was almost...ALMOST enough to cause Kris to go back and confront Akiha over it.

But that meant she'd have to waste a spell to go back and she might need it later. It was enough to make her forget the idea altogether. Instead, she knocked on Katina's front door. Yes, she got here by teleporting. If anyone thought Kris would actually walk, they'd be in for a surprise.

"Maybe I should get a ring of fire resistance or something." If anyone else here makes magic rings.

"What if I could overpower it?" She moved her hand off Katina's around and slid it around her waist. Much more comfortable like this.

"I'd be burned to a crisp, I guess. Doesn't sound too pleasant." It's plenty comfortable, Katina settling against Kris. While talking to her about being torched.

This is perfectly natural. "I can't say it's ever happened to me so I wouldn't know."

[grandtheftmecha]

"Well I'm not gonna be your test subject, so I guess I should stay on your good side."

[ported]

"I don't think you'll ever have that problem."

[grandtheftmecha]

"Yeah, you seem pretty easygoing. I can think of one way to get on your bad side and it's not something I'd do." And she'd be in trouble long before Kris showed up.

"Really? What is that way?" Even Kris was curious to know. She wondered if it fell into what she knew about herself.

[grandtheftmecha]

"Hurting Akiha." Katina glanced away. "Emotionally I mean, I couldn't do shit to her physically. But if I ever really hurt her I wouldn't blame you for coming after me."

[ported]

"I did stab that one girl in the back..." Did Katina even know about that? Anyway, sounds like Katina was right.

[grandtheftmecha]

"...who?" Oh shit, yeah, that sounds like something to avoid. "Anyways, you know I wouldn't do that to her."

[ported]

"I don't know who it was." She shrugged somewhere in there. "She was trying to kill Akiha though."

Of course Kris knows Katina would do nothing of the sort. Crazy talk.

"So how'd that work out? Did you kill her or just wound her?" Honest curiosity about Kris' backstabbing skills. Katina would probably just charge and get herself hurt in the same situation.

"She got away but I don't know if she died later or not. I don't think Akiha would have let me follow her."

[grandtheftmecha]

"It was better to stick with Akiha if she was in any trouble anyways. Whoever it was, you could just team up on her if she came back." And now Katina sort of wants to know who it was...

"That's true..." Hmmm. "You could probably ask Akiha about it though."

[grandtheftmecha]

"Do you think she'd mind?" She knows that Akiha doesn't like being seen as vulnerable. "How long ago was that anyways?"

[ported]

"Probably not!" Oh geez, why were you asking the hard questions, Katina? "Um....I don't really remember."

[grandtheftmecha]

Those are usually the philosophical ones that Kris just kind of brushes off. "Well hell, I guess it's not that important than."

She baps Kris on the head. "Do you at least remember what she looked like? Fought like?"

Kris squirms a bit and squeaks when she gets hit. "I think she had light blue hair. And glasses maybe?" She wasn't exactly paying attention. Not to mention that she shrouded the place in fire.

[grandtheftmecha]

"Eh. Guess that's all I'm gonna get out of you." It doesn't sound immediately familiar, anyways, though she could keep an eye out.

She pats the spot she hit, then puts her arm back around Kris.

"I'm not so good at these kind of things. Sorry!" She doesn't sound sorry, however. More amused by the fact that Katina is interested in it.

"You mean having a memory?" Then again, Katina tends to forget people who she kicks the shit out of...

"So did you come over here with anything particular in mind?"

[ported]

"Mine isn't so good when it's about things I don't think matters." Which was a lot of things.

"I didn't. I just wanted to have fun!"

[grandtheftmecha]

Ugh. Dropping the topic of what Kris finds important seems wise if she wants to keep her brain in one piece.

"So what's your idea of fun? We can go do a lot of different things if you'd like."
