Summary: Ryoko will help people make chocolates for their ♥loved ones♥
Warnings: foodkink J/K N/A, except for maybe extreme slowness/backtagging on my part. assume that Ryoko made a vine post inviting people to join her to make homemade valentines' candy!

The kitchen today was neatly arranged with cocoa, vanilla, various fruits, sprinkles, nuts, icings, and everything else anyone would need to make the perfect homemade valentines' chocolates. Ryoko had also ventured into the wild and brought a decent amount of magic dirt, which she was currently making a heart-shaped mold out of. Seems like it could probably be transformed into any other shape, too~

"Now then! Shall we get started?"

Y... yes, that must be it. Though, there do seem to be some people with questionable diets in the Gardens, but hey~

"It shouldn't be too difficult, especially since I'll be here to help," Ryoko winked secretively. "But don't worry, you'll still be able to tell your girlfriend it's a labor of your love!"

Yes, Fionna knew ALLLL about some diets in the gardens and their particulars. She was going to happily stick to her frosting theory.

"My g-" Fionna stammered, laughing. "Nah, these are for my girls that are friends, not like that! I figured I woudl make something, to thank 'em for all they've done for me!"

"Is that so?" Ryoko teased. "Well, that's a little less romantic than I was expecting. But, that's fine too! Who knows, they might want to thank you for the gift~"

The way she was sighing theatrically and cupping her cheek, she was probably imagining a different kind of 'thanks' than what Fionna might be thinking of, though!

What? Ok, Fionna may have been naive at times, but she definitely didn't miss Ryoko's meaning. "Dude, no way. She has a guy back at home! Chances are she would just make me something to eat or thank me. She's a real sweet gal."

Marceline on the other hand? That was going to take a lot more than chocolates. She only hoped in the end she would listen to her.

"I see! She sounds like a good friend. Then... hmm, would you say she's a dark, milk, or white chocolate kind of girl?" Ryoko asked, gesturing to each of the respective bags of cocoa, in turn.

Fionna thought about this a moment. Amimiya was true, strong and steadfast, but she also had a sweet, kind part of herself she was sure would bring people to her. Heck, it had brought HER to living there, something she was still grateful for.

'Milk," she said, smiling. "She's that cool."

[lastwaltz]

She measured off a cup of the milk chocolate and poured it into the bowl. "If you can find a whisk, I'll measure out the other ingredients and you can mix them together."

Fionna found it a moment later, and then thought a moment.

"I have to make one more batch though, but with cherries. It's for my other friend. Sort of."

"Would you mean cherry filling? We could do that after we've prepared the sauce,"

Then, a mischievous grin. "Unless you were thinking about experimenting. That's what cooking's about!"

"No, I mean a candy with a cherry center," Fionna said. "Is there a way we can do that, and bake the chocolate around it?"

She nodded. "Heck yes! Messing around and finding out how this stuff works is my thing! Let's give it a shot!"

"That's what I meant, so we can do that easily! Or... hmm, I wonder if there's some flavoring we could add to the chocolate itself..."

She tapped her chin as she regarded the ingredients in the kitchen, then the magic dirt.

"Oh cool! Yeah, like something to give it a kick! That would be so spice!"

What exactly DID she have in mind though? Now she wished she paid more attention when Cake was messing around with treats.
