Hakurei New Years Day Festival

Who: Reimu Hakurei, Sanae Kochiya, and everyone else that wants to be here.
Where: Hakurei Shrine
When: Backdated to the morning of January 1st.
What: It's the new year, and the Shrine maidens are having a New Years Shrine Festival. COme get your New Years Fortunes.
Warnings: None. It is recommended that you wear a Kimono, but not required



Reim did not attend the New years Eve Party. She was busy setting up her shrine for New Years Day. The Shrine was all decked out, with a few food stands having hot pork buns and warm tea. By the Donation box and Bell was Reimu, holding her Gohei. Near her is an Omikuji Divination Box, where you can get your fortune for the new year.

Feel free to ring the bell, get some food, interact with anyone, and get your fortunes. Use this to see what you get!

Nue has been exceptionally scarce these past few weeks — has she even come back to sleep? — but it seems she has come out of the woodwork for the sole purpose of grumping all over the shrine's new years festival. Currently, she's regarding the omikuji box more than a little dubiously. Trying to decide whether or not it's worth taking a fortune, maybe...?]

-Sanae certainly had barely seen her since the mistletoe incident. And she'd talked to quite a few people about it since then, but the opportunity to set things right with Nue had escaped her time and again. And she somehow knew that the festival might draw out the youkai, but...

[So, Alice was really dropping by. Not staying for long at all. She's not entirely a fan of large social interaction, and besides, something is just off here. Namely the fact fourty or so youkai are missing.

And she's not dressed for the occasion. Because HA HA, there is something wrong with you if thought she would.]

Reimu, of course, didn't expect Alice to dress up at all. When she spots her she walks up to her.

"A happy new year to you," Reimu said bowing. "Though I wish we were back at Gensokyo."
