Mistletoe? Katina noticed it when it started springing up all over the place, but it didn't really worry her at first. Of course there was mistletoe here in December. She could just ignore it, avoid it, and go on her way, without any problems.

Ooooor... she could wonder if it's cursed or going to explode on someone or something and start poking at it carefully, none too worried about anyone joining her under it.
