swaying to my own sound [open]
Characters: Grell and anyone else
Date: February 15th.
Summary: This girl needs to blow off some impulses. Obviously that means tearing up a regenerating flower.
Warnings: Some crazy and violence "♥"ing
Oh, this was beautiful. It couldn't die. At least, not by her methods, and it would not be restrained, and it cut, and it brought blood.
She was thrilled. Sure, it was loud with the scythe, but it was perfect practice and release, the tension that had been building slowly ebbing and showing in the broad grin that decorated her face. Pity it didn't bleed as well. It would have been beautiful, eternal blood. The fight, the feeling of her opponent out for her death, and her refusing to give in. She could sing, had that not been yesterday's purpose.
"Come at me~" she taunted, rushing in again to slash at it. She could go all day, really. Just...hopefully no one would think she was in trouble and try to really kill it. Then they'd need to find her a replacement.

These things were beating up kids, and that is uncool. At least Grell's new "ally" hasn't gotten around to testing them for fire vulnerability yet...

To the girl, she gave a half-bow, silently acknowledging her presence before resuming her assault.

Souji dodges back, ducking under a whipping thorned vine. Melee probably wasn't the way to go here to finish this thing...

Just don't start on magic yet. She's not half done.

The rose is momentarily stunned, but Souji backs off again, running over her mental checklist as she gracefully dodges counterattacking vines. Her Dark and Light spells seem to be sealed, and she's covered physical attacks, lightning, and wind. Only a couple more elements left to try before she just starts pounding on the thing with the heavy stuff.

Would elements even destroy this being? It was a plant, and people were saying things about fire...but say other things. Ice, water, perhaps even using its own element against it. The thoughts sang in her head as she kicked it hard.

"Hey! You know what actually hurts these things?" she calls over to the redheaded woman, too focused on warding off any further attacks to be polite about it.

"Yeah, that works."

"I'm not quite through with it."

She went at it again, this time tearing it deeply, making it count, as she'd have to back off with this. "...Okay...okay I think it can die now." Even though I'd rather not. Oh the woes of a reputation.

That said, after another minute of observing Grell's fighting and strange weapon, she gladly finishes the giant plant off with another Agidyne spell, panting a little after it burns away from contact with the pillar of flame. That kind of magic takes a lot of energy.

She notices the girl seems drained, and it occurs to her to offer tea or something. Pity there's no nearby.
"That was amazing."

She pauses, as if considering what to say next, and decides on the polite option. "My name's Souji."
no subject
"I'm Grell. Nice to meet you."
no subject
"You okay? And do things like this happen often around here?"
