Katina had managed to get Akiha back against a tree, the roughness of the bark registering just as she was kissed. With a soft whimper, Akiha had just begun to kiss Katina back when that word rang through the air.

Back tensing up, Akiha froze mid-kiss. Caught somewhere between embarrassment and anger at the sudden interruption, one of those emotions was far easier to accept than the other. With as on edge with her demon-blood as she'd been thank to her night-time impulses, a few vermilion streaks ran through her hair as she brought her hands to Katina's shoulders to push her back and give the half-demon room.

"How dare you tell me what to do on my own property," she snapped, unable to actually see the intruder thanks to Katina blocking her sight. "Skulking in the shadows like a thief... Show yourself."
