Absence makes the heart grow fonder(?)
Characters: Kyoko and Sayaka
Date: July 23rd
Summary: Kyoko's eager to see Sayaka, as she's kind of been on a boat against her will for the past month
Warnings: Madoka spoilers, angst, Hobo-chan and Mermaid being dumb, etc
Captivity had been maddening. Even more maddening was her inability to even fight her own way to freedom from that crazy Pirate Queen once help arrived. She'd really wanted to at least deck her in the mouth for having the nerve to proposition her like that, but alas, the opportunity never came.
At least now she could return to her generally pleasant life in the gardens, though, right? She missed Sayaka. Toward the end of that horrendous ordeal, she spent a large part of her time thinking about her. That whole thing with the Pirate Queen threatening her with marriage had freaked her out, and since then she just wanted to get back to her girlfriend already. Even though she'd refused her advances, part of her still felt guilty about it.
That'd explain the brisk pace that she took in making her way back to their house.
"I'm sure Sayaka will be glad to see me~" she chuckled to herself, imagining the surprise and delight that would surely be on Sayaka's face when she came through the front door.
Except the front door was locked.
"What the--"
Confusion. Sayaka never locked the door in broad daylight like that, unless she was going out. At first she thought maybe that was the deal, and opted to wait a little bit, but once an hour passed it just seemed too strange. Cue thebanging knocking on the door.
"Sayaka! Hey, you in there? It's me! Kyoko! I'm home!"
Boy, was she ever not expecting how this was all going to go.

"...Well. I uh. ....Yeah."
Forever articulate.

Kyoko had managed to get so swept up in the moment that she forgot they were still on the doorstep. Blushing profusely, she hurries inside.
no subject
But yes, inside, all things normal now and Sayaka just slumps her head down after taking a seat.
no subject
"Hey...I really am sorry 'bout this."
no subject
Right now, relaxation is the main topic on her mind.
no subject
"...Sorry. I'm just really wiped out after all that with the crazy pirate and all..."
no subject
"... So why don't we just fall asleep right here?"
no subject
A glorious idea indeed.
"That...sounds really nice."
no subject
And then she falls over sideways, eyes closed, trying her best to lose consciousness.
no subject
"...Hey, Sayaka? I'm....I'm really glad we came here, aren't you?"
no subject
More of a strange mumble, that can not be put into a form of word.

She goes quiet now, laying her head down and letting her exhaustion take over.
