[closed - event] i don't understand how you're gone
Characters: the Damsels.
Date: They awake the morning of the 3rd.
Summary: The adventures of the captive damsels aboard the ship Labrys.
Warnings: None at this moment.
[The morning is rising, the early sun spreading streaks of red and gold out across the surrounding cloudscape, thin beams penetrating the wooden Labrys, spilling across its planks. It is an unfamiliar place that you will awaken in, one filled with the creaking of wood and the musical rattle of dried out bones. Did you think those skeletons carting you off in the night were a dream? Well, now you know for certain. Now you sit in a cage, cold steel surrounding you and cold steel at ankles and wrists. You are a captive.
And soon enough, your captor's shadow falls over you. Her dark hair is wind-tousled, her skin a silken brown. And she is smiling.]
Good morning, ladies.
[[ooc; We have below some basic headers for NPC involvement, you are not restricted to them in the least! If you start up threads with 3 or more involved, try to keep to a hazy tagging order, maybe don't jump anyone more than twice!]]

Well, except the ship thing. I'm assuming this is a ship, at least. Granted, that was a field trip and not a twisted sleepover.

[She leans closer, tilting her head to get a better look.]
You know that for a fact?
no subject
I mean, there's probably some weird magic loopholes going on, but unless I'm missing something...
no subject
No, I was looking for a little more drama. [When she looks back that half-grin is back on her face.] Maybe shackles.
no subject
I, um, would really rather you didn't, but it's already pretty obvious that you don't care what I think, and there's no way for me to stop you, so...
[Jessica: Is also a passive damsel.]
no subject
[Affirmative.]
But she might care if you live.
no subject
Just to be clear here, you're threatening my life, right?

[She contemplates this.]
I'll have to remember that one.

OK, so I should give up on getting anything useful from you. Not that I'm all that surprised; Nobody around this place wants to give straight answers.

[...just a little lesbo humor don't mind us...]

I always figured it was obvious, but maybe it's just the way you guys talk. Maybe here everyone communicates in vagueness and it's just me that's the problem.
[Jessica does not have a sense of humor. At least, not when she's shackled and confused and sore and hungry. It is for this reason that stand up comedians do not usually perform in serial killer basements.]

Why? Do you know something they don't? Regarding our situation, not... whatever's going on now.

[Cause all we've got around here are skeletons. Something is missing.]
no subject
And you're, what, holding us as ransom?

And what if she's not even in charge? Like, what if she just found this place? Maybe you know more than I do, but she doesn't seem all that on the ball to me.

[She laughs irritably.]
