Eggbabies!

Summary: Japan has an eggbaby and attempts to find whomever is closest to ask for help.

Ukraine had taken a shock that morning with Belgium and her eggbaby. The wailing had started much too early for even Ukraine to consider so she had taken it upon herself to begin weeding and tilling the garden soil to begin her season of planting. It was beautiful outside and Ukraine had missed the sun on her face after the long and colder months the garden had been subjected to.

"No, I heff not. It is so strange." Ukraine will poke it and jump when the egg squirms, babbling as if it were an actual baby.

"SO... do we heff to look after it?" Ukraine will look at Japan before fetching the tea and handing the worn teacup to her. "I don't think I heff the heart to break it, it is rather cute."

"Aa! I did not wish to imply somehow that Ukraine-san needed to assist me..." Wait, that came out wrong. She turns red and waves one hand. "I mean, I do not wish to burden Ukraine-san with such a thing. Perhaps it was delivered to me for a specific purpose.

I do not know what that might be...." Her head hands a little.

Ukraine will smile and give a little laugh, patting Japan's shoulder to try to calm her nerves somewhat.

"Is not a burden, is something to do that is different. Entertainment, yes? So, I guess for now we will heff to be this... egg's parents. Mebbe we just need to look after it, yes?"

"Parents...." Japan look over at Ukraine, then slowly allow herself to smile as well. "Yes, perhaps so. How should we begin? It seems as though it will not be quite as... straightforward as taking care of a child."

Though it still cries like one, strangely enough. She's not sure what to think of it just yet.
