Tenshi and Kazumi

Characters: Kazumi, Tenshi, and an unspecified number of horrors. Also snow.
Date: During the snow event, 22th and following
Summary: Tenshi and Kazumi are alone and have to deal with it
Warnings: Snow, terrifying monsters, and cuddling.



The only thing in sight was a small hut, in the middle of essentially nowhere. Snow in all directions, as far as the eye could see. Aside the howling wind, there was no noise - there was little that could, at the moment. After all, other than the hut, a few scattered trees, and the snow, nothing else seemed to exist.

Inside the hut were two women, both from Earth, although most likely from different versions thereof. And it was now that they began to awaken...

"S-sorry..." Kazumi said lamely, starting to step more carefully.

She looked back towards where she last saw shapes, "... w-well, even if they look human-ish right now, they might look completely different up close..."

After a short pause, she added, "A-are we almost there?"

"Yeah, don't worry, it's close, it's close. You know what? Screw this, this is a pain."

She didn't bother waiting for the reply, and simply lifted Kazumi up, flew up a few steps, and started flying back to the hut, her keystone floating behind her.

"...?!" Kazumi let out a surprised squeak, unconsciously holding onto Tenshi as she was given the flight express back to the building.

"There we go." Tenshi said after arriving at the hut, kicked the door open, entered the hut, and let Kazumi down.

"Wonder what that stupid queen wants with this."

"M-maybe it's not the queen d-d-doing this?" Kazumi said, rubbing herself and shivering since she was still cold.

"Could be any of her stupid goons..." Tenshi said. She had felt the cold, of course, but nowhere near as strong as Kazumi. Being a celestial sure paid off.

"But it seems more like her. Like the stars. Probably tried to make it winter and..did this.

"I-I-I guess that's p-possible..." Kazumi said, shivering rather uncontrollably still.

"You really seem pretty cold..." Tenshi said, noticing Kazumi was still shivering. Since there was nothing else to add warmth, she pointed at the sleeping bag. "Better warm up there!"

"Y-yeah..."

She'll crawl into the sleeping bag, but... she's still shivering pretty badly...

"A-au..."

"Au...?" Tenshi asked, while she was going through the spoils of their little trip. So annoying, there really wasn't anything nice out there. Best she had found was a single apple...

"S-still c-c-cold..." she whined quietly.

"I'd make a fire, but, uhm, I don't think there's enough wood unless I take down a tree...and starting it would be a pain..."

"I-I'd choke on the s-smoke, t-too..."

"Huh? Err...right...! I didn't think of that."

There's a small silence, Kazumi just shivering inside that sleeping bag.

"... I... I hope I don't freeze to death..."

"...err...it wouldn't come to that. At worst I could warm you up, right?"

"... h-how would you d-do that...?"

"err..." Tenshi wondered. "Err,I could come in there, that body warming up thing? Otherwise I am at a loss...uhm..."

"W-well... t-that's... I-I'd a-appreciate it if you d-did..."

She shivered a bit more to accentuate the point that she was really cold.

"...okay..." Tenshi said wearily, closed the keystone-lid of the box after putting the food back into it, and moved back to the kazumi sleeping bag.

"Well, okay, turn around then or something."

"U-um... o-okay...?"

Kazumi figured she meant to make room for her, so... she scooted to the side of the bag.

That was exactly what Tenshi had meant.

"Well, at least it's big enough..." Tenshi observed as she made room for herself in the bag and squeezed herself into it.

"Y-yeah..."

She unconsciously scooted in a little closer to Tenshi after the celestial was settled in... Tenshi could probably feel that Kazumi had been rather chilled by the weather.

"Hope this helps...you don't have to get that close though, erm..."

Tenshi scooted to the other side of the bag to maximize the space between them (the point was warming up the air, after all). "Well, this should warm you up quickly, I'm a celestial after all..."

"Y-yeah..."

Despite that, she scooted in a little closer still.

"... t-thank you..."
