A short time later, there suddenly was a salvo of pink lasers smashing open the ground near Xion.

"Oh, didn't notice it was you."

Tenshi looked cheerful, sitting on a floating rock, and was peering around. She had evidently mistaken Xion for a monster at first glance (good disguise or Tenshi being awful?).
Of course, her having no connection to Halloween, she did not actually wear a costume. Nor would she if she had known about it.
