Characters: Sette Frummagem and anybody who's getting tied to her.
Date: During the Valentine's day event.
Summary: Sette is getting increasingly exasperated by the Queen's apparent efforts to force her to make friends.
Warnings: Sette may say some foul things. Also Deimonia is liable to try and spook her.
This wasn't the first time Sette got yanked around by the Garden's event. The first time was with Fionna, but she'd hardly had a chance to lay her head down before she was yanked away again, dragged physically towards the next person, fighting and cursing the whole way.

"We meet again, my little rogue!"

"You again!?" she exclaimed in horror and frustration. "The hell did I do to deserve this?"

"Fine, let's just pucker up and get this over with," she said, apparently having the wrong idea.

Chris Hansen's ghost is going to cross dimensions and haunt me at this rate.
"Not that I don't appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not sure if that's going to work this time."

"Unless, o' course, you enjoyed it so much the last time..."
no subject
"Of course not! The hell do you take me for!"
Does she seem a little overly defensive? Maybe.

Excellen is nothing if not genuinely honest in believing Sette to be a competent rogue.

"He's the best, that's what he is! Everything I know, I learned on his knee! Someday, I'm gonna grow up an' inherit the business from him!"

"The best, huh? What's he do?"

So the Nightmare was already in a foul mood, when Sette came across her. That mood suddenly shifted. Oh, a little girl. Easy prey, most of the time.
She put down the scalpel with which she had been casually dissecting flowers very carefully and surgically to examine them closely before discarding the neatly cut flowers in a pile next to her. Then she smiled, showing sharper teeth than usual.

She just sits there grumpily, and flips Deimonea off. She is so not in the mood for this crap.

She's actually sort of cute when she's asleep, since she's not pulling faces or shouting vitriol.

Her Da's tavern was the height of the Hanghorse underworld. If you wanted to do the seedier brands of business in this town, sooner or later you'd find yourself in Nary-a-Care Frummagem's place, which gave him a finger in every pie.
It was one of Sette's favorite places in the world.
When her daily round of pickpocketing and looting was done, she'd retire to the watering hole to try and weasel a drink out of the bartender (it never worked) and sit 'round and watch the people streaming through. Her Da had warned her off stealing from the customers - "ya don't shit where you eat" - but it was great fun watching them anyway. There in the corner, a deal going down for a particularly illicit piece of contraband. There, a pair of her Da's whores - not that much older than Sette herself - flirt with the patrons and flash a bit of leg to entice them upstairs. At the door, a pair of Two-Toe lizards try to get in, but are turned away by a burly thug Nary employs as a bouncer. One of them tries to protest and gets the side of a truncheon across the nose for it.
It's a dark, seedy, carnival of moral depravity, and standing over it all, like a dark Apollonic god is her Da, respected by everyone, always standing and watching, ready to grease a palm here or strike a deal there.
