[ CLOSED ] clever title
Characters: Akira (
drinkswithminors) and Mugi (
golden_gaytime)
Date: Time is a manmade construct
Summary: Date night! Because nightmares are for other people
Warnings: Dat Satou Swagger?
[ To say that Mugi was excited when Akira just up and asked her out for dinner would be an understatement. The young girl had been slowly coming to grips with the reality of this reality that she had not quite been the picture of the bubbly, musical, sometimes-romance-obsessed girl that she had been upon arrival.
Perhaps this would be a good revival of that.
There had been but once question: "What do you want to do? We'll go wherever you want."
The answer might not have been quite what was expected: "I wish to visit the highest point we can find!"
What better place to hold a quiet picnic for two than atop the ledge of a giant freaking clock tower? Nowhere, that's where. ] Ah, it's so breezy up here! [ Perhaps her skirt shouldn't have been so flowy, but she did want to look nice for tonight. At least her hair is up and tied enough to not get in her eyes too much, and things did seem to be calming down as the sun continued to set in the distance. ]

-It was beautiful. All of it. It completely overwhelmed the eyes. Had she known it would be such a sight to behold, she would have come up much sooner, but... Maybe it was worth the wait just to see it with Mugi.-
I know it'll be my turn to pick a place next time, but I hope you don't hold it against me if we head back up here. Whoa...

It's honestly more thrilling than I expected. [ Feet dangling over the edge and all. ] I would have expect guard rails of some kind...

Mugi brings her hands down gently onto the woman's own arms in what is hopefully a comforting, wordless gesture. ]

-She needed to get over it. Mugi was safe. And she was there in Akira's arms and oh so warm and beautiful...-
We should finish our food.
