She was trying to keep her composure, she really was. But she had not been given the visions Cloud had, had not been privy to his thoughts. For her, this was truly the first time she'd seen her friend alive and well in two years. But she wouldn't cry, or falter. This was a new start, she thought. Even without Cloud and the others here...she had Aerith now, and that would be enough. It would be up to her to keep an eye on them both, but she could handle it. Now wasn't the time to be afraid.

She smiled back, shakily. "I didn't think so either. It's...it's wonderful to see you again too. I'm happy you're here."
