Tifa wasn't the only one concerned and confused, but it would seem that the difference here was that Aerith was holding herself together a bit more efficiently. Being a spirit of the Lifestream for a couple years had erased much of her fear... but of course, those circumstances now made the situation here that much more worrying.
But they'd sort it out. They always did.
At hearing her friends voice, Aerith lifted her head and turned around. For a brief moment her face seemed to suggest that she too was bracing herself for this moment. But a bright smile quickly replaced that look. The flower girl stood up. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this, hm?" She took a few steps towards Tifa, more than Tifa had taken towards her and with less hesitation. And then, there was her soft, familiar smile. Her honest smile. "I didn't think we'd ever see each other like this again. It's... it's good to see you, Tifa."
