Utsuho and Giselle
Characters: Utsuho (
uraniumtea) and Giselle (
happylittlesong)
Date: December 22nd
Summary: Snow! And shenanigans!
Warnings: Currently none.
Giselle tended to wake early; she liked to wake up with the feel of the rising sun's rays spreading the promise of another day of joy and happiness all over her face. When your day began with such sweet warmth, it could surely only get better from there!
So it was something of a disappointment when she woke up, and it was cold. Not just cold -- it was freezing, the kind of cold that went right down to your bones, that made your breath mist out and hang in the air like a tiny, almost-tangible cloud. The days in the Garden had been getting cooler, yes, but there had always been at least a little slice of sunlight to cheer her up and make her heart soar.
There was none of that here. There was only the sound of wind howling outside, snow splashing against the windows, and the feeling of terrible, oppressive cold.
Even her nice warm blankets weren't doing anything to keep out the chilly air. She tried to pull them up, to snuggle down and sleep until the happy brightness of the sun came back to greet her -- but, curiously, they were missing. Giselle opened her eyes and peered down at her bed.
Well, it wasn't her bed anymore. She'd settled into a nice little nook in the Necessities, and this was -- well, she thought, glancing around the room doubtfully, it has a certain...elegant simplicity, in its own way. Oh dear, no wonder it was so cold in here. There wasn't even a cheerful atmosphere to warm it up!
This certainly would not do. Giselle sat up, fully intending to get up and organize some kind of redecorating party, and proceeded to almost squish the other person in the sleeping bag with her.
"Oh my," she squeaked. Not only had she been mysteriously transported in the night to some strange, snowy location, but she was in someone else's sleeping bag -- and her in only her nightgown! Goodness.
