There was no need to restrain her prey anymore, so the burning sensation left Katina's arm and AKIHA took her hand off the woman's chest. She brought it up to brush back the hair from her face she gazed at her, blood pattering down on her from above as it dripped from the demon's mouth.

"It seems I cannot obliterate that line, no matter how much I want to." For as much as AKIHA had wanted to keep feeding, to drain Katina dry until there was no life left in her, Akiha would have none of it, mustering up just enough willpower to make herself stop.

"Your tithe has been paid, my dear Katina. I will send someone to see to you, lest too much of your delicious blood stains the ground."
