There was a bit of a thunk sound as the rock hit Akiha squarely in the leg. She'd made no move to avoid it, nor did she even flinch when it hit. All it did was make her shift her head and absently lick her lips a little, the angle of the sun now reflecting an unusual vermilion glint off Akiha's long dark hair for a moment.

This time she jumped all the way down landing solidly on the ground - a distance a 'prissy bitch' shouldn't have been able to manage. This close, her hair was still dark, despite that earlier flash. But that was because of the sun, right?
