Zinc stares at her quietly for a moment. She's not surprised by that answer at all, and it doesn't particularly hurt her feelings. The answer to the next one may, however,

"It does not... have to be for her." Zinc curled her hands together anxiously. "I would like to. Just this once."

That was probably an important qualifier to make.
