Jules, she's the type that needs physical contact, makes maybe a little too much friendly contact with people she doesn't know all that well. The idea of going so long with limited contact, it'd probably horrify her. Her eyebrows furrow just for a second at the look Em casts her hand, brushing her hand behind her ear a little nervously.

"Sorry?" She looks genuinely confused for a moment, default smile turning perplexed."Why ever would you apologise? Seriousness is extremely admirable." And it is, to her. Being able to be serious, operate under that pressure, not laugh it all off. "You have to be very brave to be serious."

But, ah. Talking too much is a habit of hers, lips pressing together and brow creasing apologetically at running on on the face of a change of subject. Looking down at her notes, she shakes her head. "I think I might have left my muse back in London, actually. It's all rather unimaginative, at the moment."
