Jules actually wouldn't be too far off. Sure, they aren't epic stories of dragons and swords like some of the people here, but then again, everyone has stories, everyone has baggage. Em sighs through her nose, curling her fringe around her fingers - which is just her trying to show nervousness, alas, she always does that, so it isn't a good tactic. She doesn't answer, however, doesn't say neither no or yes. She just shrugs lightly.
A little smile tugs at her lips, however, when Jules speaks about imaginary adventures. She left her own time in a similar situation. Not the meeting nor the eloping, but definitely involving a man - coincidentally, a French man. But she's pretty sure her friends and family are worried and that makes her rather sad and guilty, even though it's not her fault in any way for being here.
