She closes her eyes, her imagination leaping to life.

"They live...on the water? That's amazing. The beach I saw...the sand was clean and almost white. There are little shells in it everywhere...the waves are small, and there are tiny silver fish in them.

"It was an island, a small one, where kids would go, and...they'd play. I think. I've never played before."
